Torino 10 giugno 2013 – Ieri nella ex stazione di Torino Ponte Mosca, una delle sedi del Museo Ferroviario Piemontese, il Museo ha simbolicamente consegnato a Società Veneta Ferrovie la chiave della carrozza di 2ª classe 38416 tipo Corbellini, acquistata dall’associazione veneta con il contributo della Regione Veneto, nell’ambito dell’accordo per la realizzazione del treno storico veneto che troverà ricovero nel costituendo Museo Ferroviario di Primolano, in Valsugana, lungo la linea ferroviaria Bassano del Grappa–Trento.
Il treno sarà composto dalla locomotiva a vapore 880 001 (costruzione 1916), dalla carrozza 38416, da una carrozza 65000 e da due o tre carri merci, questi ultimi per il trasporto biciclette. Il progetto di ripristino funzionale dei rotabili è stato finanziato al Comune di Cismon del Grappa dal Fondo ODI per i progetti dei comuni veneti e lombardi confinanti con il Trentino-Alto Adige e prevede anche la sistemazione dell’area della Rimessa Locomotive di Primolano per il rimessaggio ed esposizione dei rotabili.
SVF è anche proprietaria o comodataria di altre carrozze e carri storici che verranno restaurati per esposizione e, nel momento in cui venissero reperiti i fondi, anche funzionalmente.
Il MFP nasce nel 1978 con lo scopo di provvedere al reperimento ed alla conservazione di materiale ferroviario di peculiare interesse per la cultura locale piemontese, nelle due sedi espositive di Savigliano e delle officine di Torino Ponte Mosca. Il parco rotabili è formato da una quarantina di locomotive (Diesel, elettriche e a vapore), da alcune automotrici e da svariati carri e carrozze. La sede di Torino Ponte Mosca è stata visitata durante il Porte Aperte di ieri da numerosi appassionati, famiglie e curiosi che, sfidando il maltempo e l’acquazzone che si è abbattuto su Torino lungo tutta la giornata, hanno potuto vedere i numerosi rotabili esposti, visitare le officine MFP e le attigue di GTT nonché le mostre di cimeli storici ferroviari e di documenti della Ferrovia Canavesana.

Turin, June 9th 2013 – Today the Museo Ferroviario Piemontese symbolically handed over to SocietàVeneta Ferrovie the key of the Bz 38416 coach, the 2nd class, Corbellini pattern, passenger car that SVF purchased with the help of Veneto Region within the agreement to create the Regione Veneto heritage train. The train will be sheltered in the future Primolano Railway Museum, along the Bassano-Trento line in Valsugana.
The train consist will include the 880.001 steam locomotive (built in 1916), the 38416 coach, a 65000-type coach and two or three freight cars for bicycle transport.
The Cismon del Grappa Municipality received the financing of the project for the full overhaul of the rolling stock by the ODI funds, that meant to finance projects in Veneto and Lombardy municipalities bordering the Trentino-Alto Adige region.
Cismon del Grappa project includes the restoring the locomotive shed and its yard to shed and expose the rolling stock.
SVF owns or has in loan other heritage rolling stock that will be restored for exposition first and made fully functional once the founds will be available.
The MFP was established in 1978 with the task to recover and maintain rolling stock that is peculiarly interesting for the Piemontese culture, its venues are in Savigliano the Torino Porta Milano (commonly known as "Torino Ponte Mosca") workshops. Many onlookers, railway enthusiast and families visited the Torino Ponte Mosca venue despite the bad weather and the rainstorms that fell on Turin during the whole day. They visited the various railway vehicles exposed, the MFP and the GTT workshops and the exhibits of railway relics and documentd of the Canavesana railway.
